In private practice since 1987, I have been actively learning ways to tap into other related areas that I can share with my clients and students. I have 28 years of experience as Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor and 44 years of experience as a certified psychiatric nurse and psychotherapist in private and public practice. I have been a national speaker on Alternative and Traditional Topics on radio, TV and professional conferences.

I reside in the Northern Virginia area, having grown up in Europe. Married to Hiroshi Uyama and mother of one daughter and grandmother of three children. I love nature, gardening and singing.
